Eligibility — every track
These four rules apply across the whole program. Track-specific requirements (region, exam, age) are listed on each card above.
- Be an active learner with a free QuizVerse account (any platform — iOS, Android, or web).
- Complete at least one full diagnostic or practice set on the app before applying.
- Submit a 300–500 word essay on how you study and the topic that blocks you most.
- Apply with your own work — one application per student, per cycle. No fee, ever.
Start your free prep
Every track rewards the work you put in on QuizVerse. Jump straight to the free prep page for your exam — score predictor, weak-topic diagnostic, and practice questions, all free.
Essay prompt
In 300–500 words, answer one of the following honestly. We do not read the essay for grammar — we read it for clarity, specifics, and what it tells us about how you study.
- Pick one topic on your exam you keep getting wrong. Walk us through what you tried, what failed, and what finally clicked (or hasn't yet).
- Describe a study habit that actually worked for you — and one you abandoned.
- Tell us about a constraint (financial, family, time, access) that shapes how you prepare, and what you do anyway.
Selection rubric
We publish the full rubric so applicants can see exactly how decisions are made — no opaque scoring.
- Quality of essay (clarity, honesty, specifics)40%
- QuizVerse engagement (diagnostic completed, weak-topic plan followed)25%
- Demonstrated study discipline (streaks, consistency)20%
- Financial-need statement (one-line, optional)15%
The financial-need statement is a single optional line — not a tax form, not a parent letter. We never share it with sponsors, and a missing line never hurts your score.

Common questions
▸Who can apply?
Any student currently enrolled in a U.S. high school (grades 9–12) or a U.S. homeschool program who plans to take the SAT before December 31, 2027. International students cannot apply this cycle but we publish other regional awards from time to time.
▸Is this a real, awarded scholarship?
Yes. The award is funded by AniDeeBee LLC (the entity that operates QuizVerse) and disbursed via a 1099-MISC. Winners are announced publicly on this page and notified by email.
▸Is there an application fee?
No. The application is free. We never ask for payment to apply, and the only requirement is a free QuizVerse account.
▸How is the winner chosen?
A two-person panel reviews every essay against the public rubric below. We weight the essay heaviest because the goal is to fund a student whose study story we want to amplify, not just the highest standardized score.
▸Can my school list this scholarship on its financial-aid page?
Please do — that's actually the most direct way to reach students who need it. Use the listing details in the 'For school counselors' section below; we keep this page stable so any link from your site won't break.
▸Will my QuizVerse data be used in the decision?
Only the diagnostic completion + study-streak summary that you'd already see on your own dashboard. We don't read your essays, messages, or personal notes for any other purpose.
